Schott’s Design - Chantel Schott
Chantel is a visual artist and is managed by Aspire Gallery in Paddington, Brisbane.
Her work is a methodical blend of automatic drawing and intentional imagery with a focus on botanical themes. What starts as a few simple lines ends with a cathartic and mesmerising aesthetic.
Chantel finds beauty in creating a black and white composition using archival ink on paper, however, has recently been experimenting with bold colours resulting in a curious yet pleasing narrative.
Chantel is interested in the process of creating and finding her way to the finished product. Through this exploration, each piece is a passion project synthesising imagination, making each work a one of a kind creation with a focus on using art and creativity as a self-care tool.
